Autumnal Colour and Woodland Photography Class - Stanmer Park Brighton - 9 am to 12 pm - 3 hours
Stanmer Park, just outside of Brighton opposite the AMEX stadium, is a beautiful woodland park with a wide range of trees and autumnal colour. On a sunny day we can focus on capturing dapple, light, glowing colour, and even try the Orton effect in our post production. Moody light will make for terrific subtle landscapes in the style of Jem Southam and Paul Hart, focusing on subtle colour and playing with texture and monochrome.
Ideal for beginner photographers.

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations across the region.
New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month.
And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Your experience doesn’t stop once the class ends - you can also share your photos in the Brighton Photography Facebook Group

Our classes and photography sessions are limited to a max of 5 students - due to current COVID restrictions

Very good, and enjoyable. David has a nice manner and parts his knowledge in a relaxed and friendly way. The weather was poor before the meet so he contacted us and reschedule for 1.5 hours later...he must be psychic as it turned out to be very pleasant! 🙂
